The Challengers Basketball program was created with help from PVBA so that all boys and girls with physical and mental challenges can enjoy the game of basketball. 

The program is non-competitive - no scores are kept and the focus is on basketball fundamentals and fun.

Buddies are community volunteers, ideally those with experience in the Challengers Football and Baseball programs. Buddies will partner with Challenger participants to ensure players a safe, fun, and memorable experience.

There is no cost to Challenger participants. Jerseys and basketballs will be available.  Each parent need only provide transportation to and from the courts, and water for their player. Costs associated with Challenger Basketball are generously covered by the Palos Verdes Basketball Association, and by private donations.

If your child is interested in participating in Challengers Basketball, please check back on September 1st by which time our registration materials will be posted.
